Step 1

Choose the "Calculated: Cost varies by buyer location" option in the "Give buyers shipping details" section of the "Sell Your Item" form on eBay.

Step 2

Indicate the type of package you are shipping. Your choices are letter, large letter, UPS letter, package, large package, very large package and extra large package. In most cases you want to choose package. However, you need to choose large package if the length plus the girth is between 84 and 108 inches, very large package if the length plus the girth is between 109 and 130 inches, and extra large package if the length plus the girth is between 131 and 165 inches.

Step 3

Enter the weight of the package. It is important to remember that this is not the weight of the item you are selling, but the weight after it is prepared for shipping. Your shipping weight needs to include your box and any packaging material. Either box your item before you list it, or approximate your shipping weight when listing.

Step 4

Select the shipping methods that you want to offer to your customers. Some sellers choose to only offer one shipping method, such as Priority Mail, but many others offer two or three shipping methods to give their customers a choice.

Step 5

Type in the dimensions of your package. If you have the item already boxed, measure the box to give accurate dimensions. If you do not want to box the item until it sells, you need to approximate your dimensions based on the size of your item. The US Postal Service recommends you allow for two inches of packaging material on all sides of the item.

Step 6

Click on "additional options" and check off if insurance is required, optional, or included in the shipping and handling. If the item you are selling is breakable, it is a good idea to require insurance. Some sellers also put in their auction description that insurance is required on all items that get bid over a certain dollar amount.

Step 7

Decide how much of a handling fee you want to charge for that auction and enter that into the "handling cost" box. If the item requires extra packing material, such as bubble wrap and peanuts, include the cost of these items into your handling cost.

3. di shippng calculator, kita juga bisa ngasih buyer pilihan, misalkan kita tawarkan 3 pilihan, mau pakai fed ex, registered air mail, ato no track mail. jadi biar buyer yg menentukan
4. di handling fee bisa kita masukin berapa yg kta mau --->> biaya capek bungkus2 -->> $0 -$3 aja gak usah banyak2
5. dengan adanya shipping calculator di listing kita, maka sudah makin mantap aja kita untuk go global, beberapa negara bisa menghitung shipping costnya sendiri, baru deh mereka tentuin mau beli apa enggaknya.
6. oh oya , kita juga bisa memfilter negara2 mana saja yg gak mau kita cantumin, jadi kalau ada buyer yg dari restriction area, bakalan gak beli , lagian ngapain juga kalo kirim barang kans nyampenya cuma 50%

Sharing tentang dropshiper, back order dan dispute

soal dropship, menurut pengalaman gw ada beberapa kendala:

- Dispute dari buyer karena barang ga nyampe2.
Karena kita ga pernah pegang barangnya secara fisik, rada susah memastikan apa barangnya emang uda bener2 dikirim ama dropshipper. Untuk kendala ini sebaiknya nyari dropshipper yang punya tracking system. Karna kalo ada tracking system kita bisa yakin kalo barangnya uda dikirim dan dengan adanya tracking system kemungkinan untuk menang di dispute lebih besar.

- Stock abis dan mesti back order / harga berubah.
Ini yang beberapa kali gw alamin. Barang di dropshipper abis, tapi listing masih gw buka. Akibatnya mesti refund plus bujuk2 buyer biar ga ninggalin negative feedback. Jadi mesti sering2 ngecek barang di dropshipper. Kalo cara gw, gw bikin satu file excel 4 kolom, ya gini :

- Scam dropshipper.
Nah ini yang marak akhir2 ini. Banyak website yang nawarin barang2 murah dari cina (kebanyakan berbasis di Jiashi) tapi ternyata scam. Duit uda di bayar tapi barang ga dikirim. Solusinya cari dropshipper yang nerima paypai, dan bayar pake paypai karena bisa kita dispute. Jangan pernah bayar barang dengan western union ato LR ato yang laen.
